The number of players is of no matter in American Baccarat. There are two hands dealt: the player’s and the banker’s. Like any other Baccarat game, the goal is to receive a score closest to 9 but not over. Before the hands are dealt each player has to make bets. He can bet on banker or player hand or on a tie. There are six or eight decks of cards, which are shuffled and then put in the shoe. The house dealer deals four cards face-down, two to each type of hand, and whoever bet the most money on the Player hand gets to look at this hand first.
